Enjoy Easter in a meaningful way! High up in the scenic mountain village of Törbel at Kailash International Retreat Centre, our annual Swiss Dharma Celebration is taking place. This celebration is a gathering of people from all around of Switzerland. It is a mini spiritual holiday over Easter and provides the special opportunity to receive the blessing empowerment of Buddha Maitreya – the Buddha of loving kindness, listen to inspiring teachings, meditate together and enjoy the company of like-minded people. In the breaks there are many opportunities to go for walks, relax in the peaceful surroundings, as well as to volunteer with a small job to keep the event running smoothly as the whole event is run on volunteers only.Programme:
The Swiss Dharma Celebration starts on the first day with supper at 6pm followed by the introduction at 8.15pm and finishes on the last day with lunch. At break times each participant helps with small jobs and there is also plenty of time to go for walks in the beautiful surroundings of Kailash IRC.
The Swiss Dharma Celebration be conducted in English, and translated into German, French and Italian.
The Retreat will be conducted in English.
Kailash IRC is a non-profit charity and the Retreat Centre, B&B and courses are all run by a few volunteers. Therefore it is common practice during an event at Kailash IRC that every participant helps with some jobs (e.g. chopping vegetables, washing dishes, tidying up etc.) and the final cleaning at the end of the course.
